In this paper, we propose a novel method to build a textdependent, closed-set, Automatic Speaker Recognition System based on Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficients, Vector Quantisation, and the combination of Discrete Hidden Markov Models and Minimum Euclidean Distance measure.
